The Sterndale 27.5" series offers a "proper" trails set up for the leisure weekend warrior with a combination of versatile geometry, wide 680mm riser bars and 100mm travel forks designed to strike the most versatile balance between beginner trails riding, gravel paths and potholed streets at an affordable price.
The Sterndale 4000 is the Entry level model but offers most of the features that appear on the Sterndale 1000. Cable disc brakes and full Shimano 21 speed transmission is great at this price point. Forme always pride themselves on full Shimano groupsets. Many competitors will use inferior chain sets and cassettes which are often overlooked when buying a bike at this price point. The spec of the Sterndale 4000 should keep itself out of the workshop for as long as possible compared to other bikes in this category.
